Alertacall celebrates 20th Anniversary by planting 20,000 trees in the Lake District

We’re very excited to reveal that to celebrate Alertacall’s 20th anniversary, we have planted 20,000 trees at Low Fell in the Lake District, on behalf of our customers.

We partnered with Sally Phillips, founder of Buy Land Plant Trees CIC on this project, who has been planting native trees in the Lake District National Park since 2020.

James Batchelor, our CEO and Founder, has wanted to plant trees for a very long time, but finding land and the right partner wasn’t easy. So, he was delighted to meet Sally at a Buckingham Palace reception for winners of The Queen’s Award for Enterprise in 2022, with James winning for Alertacall and Sally for her business, Chimney Sheep.

We look forward to continuing to plant a tree for every customer using our services and ultimately aim to plant tens of thousands more over the coming years.
